To many the Decatur Confederate monument right next to the DeKalb Courthouse is a horrible irony.

A snapshot of the attendees of Decatur's Confederate Monument discussion. An interesting racial demographic, but considering Decatur's population stats right now, it's probably accurate.

A generally civil discussion. Despite the small turnout (the Atlanta march was taking place at the same time), this received a lot of attention from the local press.

Decatur alumna Sara Stubbs returns to her alma mater to organize Rally for Riley. "They could not have picked a worse person to bully in this circumstance," she said. "This is the one person who I think just about anyone here would jump in front of a car for."
